OPERATIONAL SPECIALTIES: These Specialties are jobs that Senior Members perform during a mission. A mission is what happens when the CAP is "called out" to search for a downed aircraft, search for a missing person, or assist with disaster relief. Once a member qualifies, these are some of the functions that a CAP Senior member could participate. Since CAP now performs its missions under the Incident Command System (ICS) structure and methods, many of these positions may be familiar to you if you have ever worked in or around the emergency management field. |
